Secret Agents Go On To Protect Wealthy Clients
Agents in the Secret Service, FBI and other bureaus go on to protect wealthy families after they leave government service. A 2012 survey indicated that 80.8% of single family offices provide personal security services for wealthy client families. 90% of the offices surveyed said that they expected the threats to their wealthy families to intensify as the global economy worsens and the gap between the rich and the poor widens.
One of the common problems that wealthy individuals have to look out for is employees embezzling their money over time. Protective services can help to prevent this. Agents are trained to investigate and protect. They are constantly observing situations and assessing risk. One secret agent notes that a good bodyguard’s observation skills are never turned off — they become a part of his character.
