Supreme Court Has Set A Date To Hear Windsor v. United States

Supreme CourtAs I have previously discussed, the Supreme Court set deadlines for the parties in the Windsor case to file their briefs with the court. Now, the Supreme Court has set a date to hear not only Windsor v. United States, the case involving DOMA, but also Hollingsworth v. Perry, the case involving Proposition 8 in California. The Court will hear oral argument for the Windsor case on March 27, 2013, and will hear oral arguments for the Hollingsworth case on March 26, 2013. Oral argument will last one hour for each case.
