Round Two of Samsung Family Legal Battle

As I previously discussed, the SeoulCentral District Court ruled in favor of Samsung Electronics Chairman LeeKun-hee in the inheritance suits filed by his siblings. The siblings claim that after the death of their father the company assets in Samsung Life InsuranceCo. and Samsung Electronics Co. were kept hidden from them. Lawyers on behalf of thechairman’s oldest brother, Lee Maeng-hee, filed an appeal. However, according to the Korea Herald, sourcesanticipate that Lee Maeng-hee will be forced to drop the suit because of the 3billion dollars in suit fees.
