Gary Councilwoman Faces Up to Five Years in Prison for Tax Evasion

GaryCommon Councilwoman Marilyn Krusas admits to not paying any of her taxes since1991 and now owes the IRS over $157,000. 

Krusas could have paid back this amount to the government afterreceiving an inheritance of $232,000 in 2009. Instead, she took steps to hide the money and was subsequently chargedwith tax evasion.
