Judge Freezes Urooj Khan’s Assets

UnknownI previously blogged about Urooj Khan, the lottery winner who died of cyanide poisoning shortly after he won the $1 million jackpot. A probate judge in Cook County recently froze his business assets in response to an emergency motion that his sister filed, arguing that Khan’s business assets should be a part of his estate.

Khan died without a will, but he reportedly signed a deal that left his dry cleaning stores to his wife, Shabana Ansari.
