Anthony Marshall Headed to Prison

As I have previously discussed,Anthony Marshall remained free on bail as he appealed his 2009 conviction for forgingmother Brooke Astor’s signature on a will and bilking millions from herestate. 

On June 7, the Court of Appeals inAlbany denied the appeal.  Marshall and hislawyer, codefendant Francis Morrissey, must now surrender on June 17 for a oneto three year prison term.  Marshall, now88 and confined to a wheelchair, still insists he is innocent.
