Digital Assets Should Be Included in a Complete Estate Plan

As I previously disscussed, Digitalassetsthere has been an increase in digital life, technology should play an important role in estate planning. Estate planners need to address digitalassets with their clients for a complete estate plan. If digital assets are not found orinaccessible, the financial loss, or sentimental value can be great. Estate planners should encourage clients to keep track of all of their online accounts andpasswords. Even though it is possible to retrieve the information after death,it can be very expensive and tedious if the client did not plan ahead. Please see my article, EstatePlanning in the Digital Age, for additional information on thisincreasingly popular topic.
