If I Die App Sends Videos To Loved Ones Post Mortem

FacebookFacebook has come out with a new app called the  “If I Die App”. Users that havethe app can make a video which will be sent to friends and family post mortem. Thevideos can be updated and edited. However, before the video is sent the users death must beverified. This verification process happens when three digital trustees (chosen by the user) notifyand confirm the death to the administrators of the If I Die App. Once the deathis confirmed the video is automatically sent. To send one five minute video isfree, but multiple longer videos range from $20-$100. Currently, the app hasmore than 250,000 subscribes. An Israeli company created this service lastyear. If I Die co-creator Eran Alfonta, was inspired after his wife evaded aserious car accident and the two began to contemplate what their kids wouldgain beyond money if they passed away.
