Call for Adult Guardianship Presentations

The 3rd World Congress on Adult Guardianship is now accepting presentation proposals. The event will be held in the Washington, DC Metro Area on May 28-30, 2014.  Provided below is a description:

The World Congress on Adult Guardianship isan unparalleled international gathering of guardianship advocates to examineproblems from new perspectives and offer solutions from multiple viewpoints andcultures. Each World Congress offers opportunities to learn and collaborate bybringing together those involved in adult guardianship, as well as aging,disability and elder rights from around the globe. All participants bring acommitment to examine the best ways to shape guardianship systems so that theyconsistently treat vulnerable populations with dignity and respect.

Approximately 400 delegates, includingacademics, attorneys, court officials, judges, disability advocates, governmentofficials, guardians, and fiduciaries from 20 countries have participated inprevious Congresses.
