Injunction Keeps Coin Collection Away from Neo-Nazis

Injunction

As I have previously discussed, Robert McCorkell left hisestate, including a valuable coin collection, to the violent Neo-Nazi group, theNational Alliance.

Amidst concerns this estimated $280,000 estate could be usedto revive the now-defunct organization, McCorkell’s sister, Isabelle RoseMcCorkill, is contesting the will on public policy grounds.

In response, a New Brunswick judge has issued an injunctionpreventing the estate from leaving the province.  The injunction will only last ten days, butIsabelle plans on seeking to renew it.  The Southern Poverty Law Centre and the Jewishadvocacy group, B’nai Brith Canada, have filed affidavits in support ofIsabelle’s action.
