Signs of a Bad Financial Planner

A financial planner is supposed to help you find usefulproducts, boost returns on your investments, and develop your retirementplan.  However, there are manyincompetent or unscrupulous financial planners that may fail to do any of these tasks.

Here are six signs you need a new financial planner:

  1. Your financial planner switches jobs frequently.
  2. The planner promotes one approach regardless ofthe situation.
  3. He or she is always changing investmentstrategies or promoting a hot new product.
  4. Your financial planner doesn’t define yourtarget return number.
  5. The planner has no tax strategy.
  6. You hardly hear from them.
