Attorney’s Blog Leaves Him In Danger of Losing Law License

Blog

According to the Indiana Lawyer, attorneyPaul Ogden may be in danger of losing his law license for criticizing a judge. Some of the statements implying improper judicial oversight were published inOgden’s blog “Ogden on Politics.” The grievance against Ogden wasfiled after he wrote that Superior Judge David Coleman “should be turned in tothe disciplinary commission for how he handled this case. If this case wouldhave been in Marion County with a real probate court with a real judge, thestuff that went on with this case never would have happened.” Ogden isgoing to the Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission asserting that the claimsagainst him are “an abuse of the attorney discipline process.” Ogdenfiled a counterclaim stating that his first amendment rights are beingviolated.
