Poll Shows Americans Are Not Completely in Favor of Extending Life

DNATechnological advancements have made itpossible for people to live longer lives. Not all Americans believe thatextending human life is good. Recently, a poll indicated that 70% of Americanswould like to be alive from the ages of 79-100. Interestingly, only 9% revealedthey would like to live past the double digits. Additionally, more than half of Americanssay they would not take treatments that would give them a dramatically longer life span.People not in favor of longer life spans are concerned that longer lives wouldnegatively affect resources and hurt the economy.
