Five Estate Planning Reminders

There is alot to learn from celebrity estate planning. Below are a few pointers from The Globe and Mail. 

1. Draft a will. Avoid dying intestate.
2. Pay attention to specific gifts to make sure your intent is being carried out.
3. Becareful choosing your executor and name an alternative in case the original executor is unable to do so.
4. Protect your children from a previous marriage.
5. Remember that promises are not binding.
