Ernest Chumbley is being charged with killing hiswife. He claims that he shot her to end her suffering. Virginia Chumbleysuffered from terminal breast cancer. “She told me she wanted me to end herpain. All I said [was] ‘Jay, all I’ve got is what the doctor gave you.’ Shesaid ‘No, I want you to stop my pain for good,'” Ernest explained. After the shooting, Chumbley called 911 and told the dispatcher that he shot hiswife and that he wanted the police to come to his home. The police foundVirginia Chumbley in the bedroom dead with two gunshot wounds. Chumbley wasarrested and is being held on $200,000 dollar bond.
