Auction House Files Suit Against Penthouse Owner’s Estate

Guccione Collections LLC, a company that sells erotic photos byformer Penthouse magazine owner Bob Guccione, has filed a lawsuit againstGuccione’s estate, seeking a judge’s order that future sales of artwork doesnot infringe on the Guccione estate’s intellectual property rights.

The company claims the estate has wrongfully attempted to blockfuture sales of the works on their website and various auctions.  The man behind Guccione Collections, WallStreet financier Jeremy Frommer, was sent a letter by Guccione’s estatedemanding he quit selling and reproducing the works.
