DC Lottery Refuses Payout Because of Government Shutdown

Due to the government shutdown, the DC lottery is refusing to cash any winning lottery tickets starting October 12. The timeline is indefinite. Despite the payout delay, the DC Lottery is stillselling tickets. Winning tickets can be cashed after the government reopens.
