Devious Adviser Allegedly Murders Wealthy Widower

Financial adviser David Jeffs, 36, allegedly conned Mayfairsocialite Roberto Troyan, 63, out of £343,000 and then murdered him after being found out.

Troyan began living an extravangant lifestyle afterinheriting a significant amount of money following the death of his civilpartner.  After being employed to manageTroyan’s finances, Jeffs was given blank checks with Troyan’s signature, whichhe then spent on two Lotus sports cars, expensive restaurants, holidays, drugs,and strip clubs.  After one of the checksbounced, Troyan was found dead of head injuries in his central London home.
