New Jersey Supreme Court Will Hear Christie’s Gay Marriage Appeal
As I have previously discussed, New Jersey Governor ChrisChristie appealed a recent decision to allow gay couples to wed in New Jerseybeginning October 21.
The New Jersey Supreme Court will allow Christie to skip anappeal at the appellate division and has scheduled oral arguments for January 6and 7. These arguments would be heard aweek before the January 14 deadline for lawmakers to override Governor Christie’sveto of a gay marriage bill.
