Update on Pa. Assisted Suicide Case
As I have previously discussed, Barbara Mancini has beenaccused of assisted suicide by giving her terminally ill father a bottle of hislegally prescribed morphine.
A Pennsylvania judge has decided to defer a decision aboutwhether to dismiss the case, saying she will issue an order to determinewhether she needs additional information before ruling.
Mancini’s attorney is urging the judge to toss the casewhile the prosecutor says the evidence shows Mancini knew her father wanted todie when she gave him the morphine.
