Will of Wolverhampton Man Found to Be Fake
Joseph Alan Bate, of Highfield Court, Wolverhampton, diedintestate in 2008 with an estate worth over £60,000. His neighbor,Daniel Ball, put together a fake will and submitted a probate application in2010. He was found guilty of conspiringto steal in July and will be sentenced this January.
StudentTufayl Ahmed signed the will as a witness using the false name, Thomas Head. He admitted fraud and has been sentenced to40 weeks in prison suspended for two years.
