Estate of Prominent Lawyer Sued
Vivien Thorsen is suing the estate of prominent attorney John “Fay” Fahy, claiming he lied about a $1.2 million settlement on her behalf.
Fahy, the former Bergen County prosecutor, committed suicide last summer. Thorsen alleges Fahy never even filed an employment discrimination suit on her behalf even though he updated her on the progress of her case over a three-year period. The statute of limitations for her employment discrimination claim has now expired.
