Questions to Consider When Dementia Affects Estate Planning

  1. Who drafted the will? How long did that individual know your loved one?
  2. Was your loved one taking medication? What about medications doctors recommend that he is not taking?
  3. What does the medical history indicate?
  4. What do the physicians say?
  5. When did the will go into probate? Keeping track of the timeline may be important if you plan to contest to the will.
