Widower Skydives with Wife’s Ashes
93-year-old World War II veteran Jack Hake recently jumped out of a plane with his wife’s ashes strapped to his chest.
Hake did this to fulfill a promise he made to his wife while on her deathbed. Hake also used the skydive to help raise money for the doctors and nurses who took care of his wife.
Hake needed help to get in to the plane, but he had no problem jumping out. After completing the jump, Hake described it as “a walk in the park.”
