Decision Could Open Door to Same-Sex Marriage in Ohio

A federal judge’s decision is expected to spark litigation aimed at striking down Ohio’s same-sex marriage ban.

Judge Timothy Black ordered Ohio authorities to recognize same-sex marriages on death certificates.  Ohio’s attorney general said the state is planning to appeal this decision.
