Stepmother Gambles Away Stepson’s Inheritance

Craps

Eleanor Leistrum, 48, of Bristol Township has been ordered to stand trial on charges that she gambled away her stepson’s inheritance.

Stepson Angelo Popovsky was 16 when his father died three years ago.  Before he knew he was entitled to $150,000 in life insurance proceeds upon turning 18, Leistrum gambled away over $100,000 of the funds at the Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
