Jahi McMath to Be Moved Soon

Under a judge’s order, Jahi McMath will remain connected to the ventilator at Children’s Hospital Oakland until at least Tuesday.

In the meantime, mother Nailah Winkfield and her family are scrambling to find a facility that will accept the 13-year-old as well as doctors that will keep her heart beating during the transfer.

Under the agreement, Children’s Hospital will first release the girl to the Alameda County coroner, which will officially classify her as dead.
