Man Reads His Own Obituary
Sven Olof Svensson, 81, was surprised when he picked up the morning paper and read he was dead. Upon receiving his local paper, the Jonkopings-Posten, he read the obituary section and found his own. His older sister submitted the obituary after a misunderstanding of the doctor’s diagnosis. She then incorrectly assumed her brother had passed away and drafted an obituary with a long time friend of Sven-Olof, Lars Faltskog. Svensson has found the incident humorous, but shares, “Sooner or later, you are going to end up in the obituary section. I’ve lived a fantastic long life.”
