Marotta to Appeal

As I have previously discussed, William Marotta, of Topeka, has been declared the presumptive father of a child born to a same-sex couple, making him potentially liable for child support.

Marotta said he plans on appealing the decision. He argues that he signed a sperm-donation agreement waiving his parental responsibilities.  Marotta also stated he is “almost” ready to go to jail rather than pay child support if it is to be ordered.
