New IRS Limits on Form 1041

Beginning January 1, 2014, the IRS will limit the number of e-file signature authorization documents for filing the estate and trust tax returns Form 1041 to a single form.

Form 8879-F, the IRS e-file Signature Authorization document, will thus be associated with a single 1041 return instead of multiple ones.
