Recognition of Out of State Same-Sex Marriages Being Appealed in Ohio
In response to a December order that Ohio must recognize out of state marriages of same-sex couples, Ohio Attorney General has filed a notice of appeal. Though the case was limited to recognizing out of state marriages for the purpose of being married on death certificates, the reasoning behind the ruling may have broader implications.
