Seniors Caring for Seniors

Americans caregivers are getting older.  As the demand for senior services grows with the aging of the baby boomers, so too does the employment of other seniors.

By 2018, 29% of direct-care workers are projected to be 55 or older.  This growth of older caregivers is driven mainly by the overall aging of the population as well as the trend of working later in life.
