Kody Brown and his four wives are bringing polygamy into the limelight.

The Browns want to be the new face of polygamy as evidenced by their TLC reality show, Sister Wives, their best-selling book, and their challenge of Utah’s polygamy ban.

The Browns have fled to Nevada for fear of prosecution in Utah for polygamy, which some consider the next frontier after same-sex marriage.  A federal judge partly overturned Utah’s ban last month, ruling that prohibiting “cohabitation” violates the free exercise of religion.
