Ash Found in Trash
The family of Vietnam veteran Eric Wiley is suing a Cleveland funeral home because Wiley’s ashes eventually ended up in a dumpster.
Wiley’s family claims they paid the Charles Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services to cremate Wiley and bury his ashes in Western Reserve National Cemetery. Instead, the funeral home stored his ashes in a storage unit. After failing to pay the bill for the unit, Wiley’s ashes were later found in a dumpster.
