Canadian Doctors Keeping Brain-Dead Pregnant Woman Alive
Similar to the Marlise Munoz case, Canadian doctors are keeping a brain-dead pregnant woman on life support until they can deliver the baby.
Shortly before Christmas, Robyn Benson of Victoria, British Columbia, suffered a brain hemorrhage. Now, her husband is counting down the days to the birth of his son and the death of his wife.
Unlike the Marlise Munoz case, the fetus is still viable with an 80% chance of survival. Doctors are hoping Robyn can carry the baby seven more weeks, which would make her about 34 weeks pregnant
