Mandela’s Will Leaves Nothing To Wife of 40 Years
As I have previously discussed, Nelson Mandela’s will, as amended in 2008, was recently read in Johannesburg. The will left nothing to his three surviving children because of gifts made to the children during Mandela’s lifetime. Additionally, Mandela left nothing to his second wife, Winnie, to whom he was married for almost 40 years prior to their divorce. However, Mandela did leave money to his widow and each of his widow’s children. There is speculation that the will may still end up in court although it has not been contested yet.
