Employer Accused of Yelling Expletives at Employees Settles

EEOCAn employer who made derogatory comments to three of his employees regarding their age reached a settlement agreement. The court approved the settlement agreement last week. The alleged comments made by the employer were planned to be used as direct evidence of age discrimination in the workplace. The comments at issue included yelling expletives, referencing the employees’ age, and telling employees to wear makeup to cover up their wrinkles. The EEOC age discrimination lawsuit was settled for $300,000.
