Family of Madoff Fraud Victim May Seek Tax Refund
After the devastating effects of the fraud by Bernard Madoff, a U.S. Tax Court judge has given good news to the victims.
In Kessel v. Commissioner, the judge the estate of a man who paid taxes on his Madoff account is entitled to request and put on their case to receive a refund on the taxes paid.
