Money BagHelping a Hero is a nonprofit that uses donations to build homes for severely injured veterans. The non-profit has been accused of not accounting for all of the donations it receives. One of the individuals asserting the claim that there are unaccounted for donations is Helping a Hero’s former director Judith DuBose.  Helping a Hero is suing Dubose for defamation arising out a Facebook post by DuBose that discussed the accusation that there are more than half a million dollars of missing funds donated to the non-profit and questioned where all the money went.
