The Final Regs for Circular 230 have been published in the Federal Register. The Circular 230 Regs set the standards to be followed by tax advisors when giving written tax advice to their clients. The Final Regs are slightly different from the Proposed Regs, such as changing from negative to affirmative language so now the regs state what an advisor must do instead of what they must not do.
