Baby Boomers Creating Favorable Environment for Surge of Charitable Remainder Trusts

BagCharitable remainder trusts were plentiful in the mid 1980s to late 1990s, until the economic climate and tax laws changed. Now the time is right for charitable remainder trusts to trend again. A combination of tax changes and the baby boomers reaching peak age for creating them is credited with the predicted increase in creation of charitable remainder trusts.
