Federal Survey Shows Americans Not Actively Planning for Retirement
A recent Federal Reserve survey reveals that the majority of Americans are not actively planning for retirement. Roughly 25% have actively taken responsibility for their own retirement planning , and 25% reported that they have not taken any steps to plan for retirement. A majority of those surveyed who are between 55 & 64 years old, plan to work as long as they are able to rather than having a planned age for retirement.
