As I have previously discussed, the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld decisions by federal judges that struck down the same-sex marriage bans in Oklahoma and Utah. Now the two states are appealing their cases to the U.S. Supreme Court, hoping to have a chance to defend their overturned same-sex marriage bans. The appeal for the Oklahoma case was filed on Wednesday.
