The Rockefeller family is often associated with the oil industry. Now, some members of the current generation of Rockefeller heirs are expressing concerns regarding the affect of fossil fuels on the environment. The Rockefeller Brothers Fund, a charitable foundation, is cutting ties with the oil industry by divesting the foundation of its fossil-fuel stock.
