Celebrities choosing to not leave large fortunes to their children out of concerns of them not being independent and successful if they have trust funds to rely on, has been all the buzz lately. However, the celebrities choosing this estate planning strategy of leaving a majority, or at least a large chunk, of their estate to charity rather than their children are in good company.
