Alaska Transfer on Death Act
Alaska has adopted the Uniform Real Property Transfer on Death Act. The act is now effective, and allows for property to be transferred upon death without the need for probate. Individuals wishing to take advantage of the act can access the form through the Alaska Court’s website. The site also provides an informational Q and A page on the new act.
