Memorial to Steve Jobs Labeled ‘Gay Propaganda’ in Russia
In 2013, a memorial monument was built in St Petersburg, Russia in memory of Steve Jobs. The memorial has been taken down by ZEFS, a group made up of Russian companies. The group says that the memorial was dismantled as a result of current Apple CEO Tim Cook’s public announcement that he is gay. The group views the move as protecting Russia’s youth from “gay propaganda.”
