An example of what not to do with an unexpectedly large inheritance has been illustrated by a young man in Scotland. Twenty-four-year-old Euan MacAndrew was charged with dealing cocaine after burning through a six figure inheritance from his grandfather, and developing a drug habit. MacAndrew’s spent his new wealth living the high life and buying expensive cars, clothes, and drugs, before being arrested in possession of a large amount of cocaine.
