The World’s Top Trust Fund Pets

PetsThe practice of ensuring for a pets’ care after the owner’s death is on the rise, especially in countries that are seeing rising property values which create larger estates. Here are the world’s top five planned for pets that have or are expected to be extremely financially provided for after their owner’s death:

  1. Australian Socialite Rose Porteous’ three poodles will each have $1 million designated for their care, which currently runs their owner up to $800 per week.
  2. The three English bull terriers of the late British fashion designer Alexander McQueen were left £50,000.
  3. Oprah Winfrey’s two springer spaniels are rumored to be lined up receive up to $30 million after she dies.
  4. A mysterious and devoted pet owner left her neighbor $6 million to care for her cat Pepe Le Pew in San Diego.
  5. Drew Barrymore returned the favor of her labrador saving her life from a house fire by giving her beloved dog her Beverly Hills home through a trust.
