The Benefits of Slowing Down

StudyThe concept is called “Midrash” and it dates back to 100 A.D. It is a concept that was used by spiritual leaders to reinterpret written texts created long before by taking the time to focus on how the passages could be related to present day. This concept can help in estate planning, by an individual taking quiet time to really consider their life and goals, and how they want to translate that into their estate plan.  Midrash can also assist estate planners by encouraging those drafting estate planning documents to focus on all of the possible meanings and interpretations that can come from the text to assure that they accurately reflect the wishes they are intended to.
